…there would be more! Our little guy is 2 weeks old now…these were taken on day 10. My 3 year old served as my assistant. He styled the shots, stood in cue while T was on the chair to be sure he didn’t fall off, carefully pruned the grass around the basket to make sure it looked just right, and told me whenever T’s little head fell off his hands. He’s a budding photographer for sure!

Congrats Melissa! He looks like a big boy on that chair. My little guy who is just 6 weeks would not fold over like that! Even within the first few days.
Beautiful shots of your handsome boys!
these are just perfect! I love the sibling shots, and the last one … swooooooon!
These are gorgeous. Congratulations on your new gift.

Your boys are adorable. Love your photos of them. Congratulations!
not even sure if you get comments on old posts, but if you read this.. can you please tell me where you found that basket? i have really been wanting one similar to that! thanks!
You can imagine, that our new little guy doesn’t have a chance when it comes to hiding for the camera. But I have a new found respect for the new moms on my newborn shoots – it was tough being mom and photographer…really tough.
I spent yesterday’s nap time photographing the new little one, and the day before capturing E with his little brother. He is completely over the moon…totally smitten with his brother, and it just melts me heart.

Awesome photo!! Please tell me you did not play delivering mom AND photographer?!!!
I get asked via email all the time about my processing techniques. How do I get my images looking the way they do? I spend a great deal of time after our session custom editing each image – drawing out the true potential of the image. The final product is exactly what I saw in my head when I composed the shot during our session…
So here’s a before and after from my session with E last night. So you know that it isn’t about my camera or equipment, it is about the artistic vision.
