The other night, while E ran around like a crazy kid and my littlest guy screamed (and I mean screamed!), I chased sweet Cleary all around the yard capturing his one year images.

You’ll remember Cleary from this post or this one, he was just a little guy then…and you’ll also remember how incredibly important this family is to me. It is quite the honor to be asked to document his little life. We are so excited for what is to come for C. I can’t wait to watch him grow.

I know…I know…it is only July! But these mini sessions are almost completely filled already! If you are interested in securing your family’s spot, all you need to do is pay a $100 retainer (applied to the total package price) and select your session date and time.

The details:

*Each session yields 10-12 finished images.

*To secure your spot all you need to do is pay a $100 booking fee (which is credited toward the price of your package)

*The final balance of your package is due after you see your pictures (you must commit to buy at least the smallest package).

*After booking your spot, you’ll receive an email with what to wear information specific to the location you selected, a session guide, and a link to check out this year’s card options so you can pick your card before your session if you wish (think coordinating your outfits with the card you love most!).

Ready to book? Email me back with the date (information found on the images above) and the top two times (see below) you’d like and I’ll get you down on the calendar!

Times for Stockyard Station and Field of Dreams locations: 7:30AM, 8:15AM, 8:45AM, 5;30PM, 6:15PM, 7PM

Times for The Studio: 9:00AM, 9:45AM, 10:30AM, 11:15AM, 12PM, 12:45PM

Walker is one. That’s right, yet another baby planner is completing their first year with MZP! I can hardly believe it!

It was so fun capturing Walker at his house and then the following week at the Arboretum, which of course, is gorgeous this time of year! He’s moving everywhere, and as busy a boy as they come – so great!!

As I mentioned yesterday, in honor of the 40th Earth Day they’ll be several giveaways this week – all things my family loves, uses, and helps us do our part.

Two sessions were canceled this week because of the cold temps, but that’s okay! Because yesterday brought this Yankee a foot a snow!! I couldn’t believe it as the snow kept falling yesterday…and this morning everything was just magical.

E and I spent hours outside yesterday, enjoying the cold and the flakes! I’m so excited he got to spend some time knee deep in the white stuff! He had a blast!

He came 6 days after his due date. And I met him on his 6th day of life. My newest babyplanner is here!! He is so sweet…he didn’t want to sleep, but he sure gave me a ton of great shots! And this is the first session that I miss judged a little baby pee and got hit right in the face…hilarious!

Thanks mom and dad for having me out…and for being so relaxed during the session. You are going to love the gallery – I promise!

I’m several days late in announcing this winner – and I am so sorry! BUT the hold up was because my judging panel couldn’t decide between two entries, both touched their hearts in different ways, and we were trying to figure out which was more deserving. It was impossible. So…we’ve decided make both of them winners!

And just in case you forgot, the winner receives $3200 in photography credit and product: a full digital collection which includes all digital negatives, a custom image box full of 5×7 prints from their session, and a 20×24 gallery wrap canvas. The person who nominated them receives $1400 in product: a session, 5 digital negatives and their matching 5x7s, and 3-3×3 mini accordian albums.

Little Miss A was just perfect when we met last week! She’s the perfect combination of mom and dad, and big sister Star (the dog) seems smitten too! Lots of family was in town for the shoot, it was great to meet you all and to watch you interact with Star and Miss A. You’ll be seeing a lot of this little one as she spends the year growing up on the baby plan!

Liam’s family met me downtown yeterday for a session marking his 8 month…I love baby planners at this age! He’s moving all around and has this fun new smile that had me laughing the whole session. Thanks to mom and dad for trekking around in the heat…we got some great shots!

Loyal blog readers will recognize the littlest guy in the family shot below…Vinny is a baby planner who will be one soon! Yikes! His mom called a couple weeks ago to say that all his siblings would be in town at the same time this week and we needed to get some pictures…she called the right person! I met three of the most well-mannered big people today…who are obviously in love with Vinny and totally adoring of their father. Awesome! So glad the rain held off!
