I had the pleasure of meeting with Austin and his parents last night. Austin plays baseball with my youngest brother, and soon he’ll be a big brother himself!! He’s really excited to meet his sister…almost as excited as mom and dad I am sure. They are working like crazy to get A’s room done before her arrival…could be any day now! I can’t wait to get my hands on that sweet little one and her amazing pink nursery…see you all soon!

I had the pleasure of meeting with Resha and her husband on Saturday morning to celebrate the upcoming arrival of their fourth child, a second boy. He’ll be here in just a few short weeks (one week before I am set to deliver my second boy), and Resha couldn’t be more excited! She’s glowing from the pregnancy, and she glowed when she spoke of her children at home…three different personalities, but three amazing hearts! It sounds like there is a lot to be thankful for in her family…and this little guy will be welcomed with a lot of love!

A couple of weeks ago I photographed this little track star’s mama, as she eagerly awaited him! Last night, I had the chance to capture all 7 days of this sweet baby planner…so cute!! He wasn’t too sure about sleeping during the session, but I finally won the battle!! Thanks mom and dad for your patience! And I was pleased to hear that he slept through the night last night…I plum tuckered him out!!

It is almost time for my newest babyplanner to be born…I’m so excited! Yesterday I had the chance to meet mom and dad for a session all about them as they await Baby J’s arrival. The fall colors this year are really something to be seen (makes me miss PA a little less), and this mama is just gorgeous!

Another new babyplanner!! Can you believe it, two amazingly gorgeous mamas to be this week?!!? I am so excited to find out if this little one is a boy or a girl…so far I have a lot of new boy babyplanners so I’m keeping my fingers crossed for a little girl! Mom and dad were up for anything last night…and the wind, while a bit crazy, totally worked in our favor! Take care, and I can’t wait to hear pink or blue soon!

I have had the pleasure of watching Jaime’s belly grow over the last 9 months…as I’ve been meeting her monthly to get a single shot of her belly for an awesome storyboard we are working on…as soon as her little one gets here and the board is complete I’ll be sharing it here! We finally got to meet for her full maternity session this week with her husband after being weather delayed a couple of weeks ago…it was a gorgeous night!! I am so excited that her daughter will be one of my newest babyplanners!

I am so excited to introduce my newest baby planner…he isn’t here quite yet, but we are expecting an early arrival!! I can’t wait to get my hands of this little one – his nusery is perfect, and his parents are super sweet…plus he has two dogs just waiting to protect him (they already guard mom’s belly!). Thank goodness the sun made its return just in time for this session…it was gorgeous!

This gorgeous mom to be was just glowing last night! You can just see how excited she is about the birth of her first child, a daughter, in a few short weeks! I can’t wait to meet her either! We were so pleased that the sun made its appearance for a bit so that we could shoot outside as well…just beautiful light last night! Thanks so much to grandma for tagging along along and being my assistant, I really appreciate the help!

Last night I had the honor of traveling to Dallas for a very special maternity session. This family is pregnant with their first child, a boy to be named Jayden, who is due in just six short weeks. Unfortunately Jayden has a serious medical issue that will make it impossible for him to survive after birth. As you can imagine this family is on a very difficult road, trying to soak in every minute they have with their sweet boy while beginning to cope with that fact that he will never come home with them.

Dad contacted NILMDTS asking for maternity images and then pictures of Jayden in the moments after his birth. I was honored to take the call. If you don’t know about this organization, click the link…spend some time reading their site…commit their purpose to memory…and tuck it away in case you ever know anyone who can use our services.

I ask that you hold this family in prayer over the next weeks leading up to Jayden’s birth and in the weeks and months that follow. Your faith in GOD and prayer will give them strength to weather through this difficult time. And to Jayden’s mom and dad…enjoy these moments with Jayden, I look forward to meeting him soon.

When I prep for a maternity session, I am always so excited…something about seeing a mother-to-be looking radiant and the anticipation of meeting the little one in a few weeks during the newborn session. Friday’s session was very different…mom and dad are expecting their third child in a few weeks, but sadly this little guy won’t be coming home. He has Potter’s Syndrome (the same condition that also caused the demise of their oldest child six years ago), and unfortunately his prognosis means incompatible with life.

I had the chance to meet mom, dad, and big sister for a very special maternity session. The mood was joyous – as this family appreciates every minute they have to spend with their son. They know this tremendous situation is part of God’s plan, and they remain faithful through it all. It was an absolute honor to be called upon as your memory-maker.
