US citizen.

most wonderful

thing.

people cried,

myself included.

little kids waved flags.

camera flashes

were firing

everywhere,

no one dare

miss this

moment.

this country really is

amazing,

the eighty-five people

from

thirty countries

who said the oath today

would most certainly

agree.

to be able to look

at your photographs

and hear the laughter filling the room,

the scent from their baby shampoo wash over you,

your heart fill with joy…

sweet smiles all pointed at the camera

have their place,

but genuine moments
