I had the opportunity to do a very special family session yesterday. Three daughters wanted pictures of the entire family (13 amazing people ). Doesn’t seem too out of the ordinary, but their mom, the matriach, has recently been diagnosed with cancer…the details aren’t important, but what I am about ask is…

…please take some time today, this week, and in the months to come, to pray for this family, for grandma’s strength during her treatment, and that GOD will take special care her. Thirty minutes yesterday was enough for me to learn that she is extraordinary, and that her family is equally special…

More than three decades of marriage and two daughters later, Claudia and Richard decided it was time to get some photos of just the two of them…something they didn’t do before they married. I met Lynn in 2006, when I moved campuses and started teaching at the elementary school she called home. Fast forward three years, and I am now living my dream and she has moved districts to a new school. She frequents my blog, leaving comments on lots of sessions. Recently she contacted me about getting some pictures done…besides the school pictures she gets each year, she hasn’t had herself photographed in a long time! Enter me and my camera…
