archive for January, 2012
and just like that
it’s over.
a full month
of little moments.
the in betweens,
the easily forgotten,
the ones I want
to remember
most.
until next time.
xoxo

nothing like a
little morning workout.
tightening their core
and building
an even better
LEGO race car
than yesterday.

this winter has been
amazing.
mild temps
warm sun
perfect afternoons
spent at the park.
we are
taking advantage of
every
single
day.

family dinner
before
family grocery shopping.
why, you ask
is the big boy
hovering
over his plate?
just out of frame,
there is a
daddy
playing like he’s going
to steal his plate
of food.
it caused giggles from
the little guy
and one
pretty distraught
big boy
who finally laughed
when it realized
it was all a
game.

I’ve been telling
my clients
forever
that real
genuine
moments
aren’t forced.
they are fluid
little glimpses
found in every session,
when the subject
is allowed
to just
be.
MZP is rolling out a new take on the classic session. It’s simple, understated, real…the moments you want to remember about your child, about your family, about each other. In the coming weeks on the blog you’ll see real families, real children just as they are – imperfect but completely perfect to those who love them, exactly how God intended us to be – so totally, head over heels in love.

little sister.
six sweet freckles,
piercing blue eyes.
sweet
as
sin.
and today,
she was allowed
to just
be.
