archive for June, 2011
If you read our personal blog, www.zihlmanfamily.blogspot.com, you can get the whole story behind the following pictures. We had an amazing time on vacation, enjoyed the time with family and friends, and the beach. We are so grateful for the time we get to spend together, uninterrupted time to really cherish and love on each other. It was hard to come back, but we are dusting off the sand and getting back to reality.
day twenty three – 4am wakeup call and some early morning plane watching

day twenty four – soaking up small town life in Princeton

day twenty five – the harbor and poppi (the boys great grandfather)

day twenty six – early morning beach time

day twenty seven – beach portraits for mommy

day twenty eight – saying goodbye is never easy, but doughnuts help.

*I won’t be updating the blog while we are on vacation, but I’ll still be documenting this series while we are away, and I’ll share them when we return. MZP will be closed from Thursday, June 23rd through Thursday, June 30th while we travel to Philadelphia for some sessions and then onto the Jersey shore for time with family & friends*
it’s almost
that time.
we’ve
been waiting
forever
it seems.
vacation
starts
tomorrow.
I spent
all morning
washing,
organizing,
and folding,
trying to get
a family
of four
in one
suitcase.
the boys
had fun
with
free reign
in the
house.
and when
the suitcase
came out,
it was
their new
favorite
toy.

I won’t be updating the blog while we are on vacation, but I’ll still be documenting this series while we are away, and I’ll share them when we return.
little
mister fix-its.
they’ve always
got tools out,
sawing away
at something.
the hammer
pounds
for hours
it seems,
but
I can’t
tell them
to stop,
because
they are
laughing
and
carrying on
and
loving every minute.
who am I
to stop
the fun?

they were tiny,
really tiny
when this blog
was first introduced
to Skye & Brady.
now they are
almost
two & a half,
and if you
follow this blog,
you’ve watched
them grow.
today,
I followed them
as they explored,
giggled,
and roared.
was awesome
for their session,
the dinosaurs,
the carousel,
and
perfect spots
for hide ‘n seek.

cute
baby
bottoms.
little dimples
and
tan legs.
the boys
wait
all day
for bath time
with daddy.
they love
watching
the water
fill the tub,
eagerly waiting
to climb
right in.
