February 2011 | Orange
From Melissa (photo left): February is about the first tastes of spring. Sometimes they arrive as warm 70 degree days just after four days of snow. Sometimes as the first buds begin to appear on the tree. And sometimes, as the sweet taste of a little juicy orange fruit, gobbled up with every meal by a certain (growing too fast!) four year old and his little pint size brother.
From Shalonda (photo right): February…well lets be honest february and the color orange do not go hand in hand…and if we are really being honest than we can all agree that the color orange doesnt really go with anything in my mind, except tsips….i just dont own anything orange, i mean we dont even have one single orange crayon in our house, ha! so i had to fall back to old faithful…food… after months of not being able to buy any good clementines we have finally arrived into february, a hit or miss month in texas when it comes to weather temperature. well february 2011 has brought with it a glimpse of spring, all wrapped up in a sweet, juicy baby orange, that can be peeled easily by a certain 4 year olds little fingers!

she’s a horned frog, he’s a mustang…

Abby is the,
happiest ever.
Ever.
She laughs at herself,
her mom,
her dad…
me.
She laughed just moments after a little tumble,
when the wind blew,
and a million different moments during our session.
A gorgeous day to wrap up a year of sessions.
I’m always a little sad when a baby plan ends,
it only lasts a moment though,
when they are as happy as this sweet one!

I can’t believe it’s been six months since I last saw Liz. She’s grown so much, and is adorable as ever! She’s quite the entertainer too…full of smiles while playing peek-a-boo, and little drama when she wasn’t sure about walking in the cowgirl boots.
I’m so glad we waited for this week to shoot, as the weather could not have been more perfect! Thanks mom and dad for a fun morning!

Meet Kevin.
He’s the uncle of one of my favorite baby planners.
Brother of the bride from an awesome wedding I shot in October.
He’s a senior who loves graphic design.
Creates custom iPhone themes.
And will be attending the Culinary Institute of America this fall.
Basically, he’s awesome by MZP standards.
