December 2010 | Yellow

From Melissa (left): December is party time in this family. Christmas, birthdays, and ringing in the New Year.  A certain toe-headed boy turns another year older…which means a special photo shoot in his favorite boots to commemorate the day. It’s a month of celebrating what a wonderful year it’s been, and anticipating what the next year has in store…

From Shalonda (right): december means celebration (and lets face it i dont need a party to drink some bubbly, ha)…. but truly, december is for celebrating the birth of Christ, rejoicing in the family memories another year has provided and toasting the start of what a NEW year has in store

This week brought several sessions that need to be blogged, and I’ll get to them soon, but this week also brought a session for each of my boys.  That’s right, they each got their own session to mark their milestones…6 months and 4 years.  I just can’t believe it, really I can’t, that E is FOUR, and that T is somehow already 6 months old.  Time is flying, and I’m looking for a way to clip its wings…

Just a quick post to show off our Christmas card this year…since I had the pleasure of making close to 100 different cards for clients this year! Wow! Certainly my most exciting year to date…and I am oh so grateful! Thank you for spending your year with MZP, I look forward to seeing you and many more in 2011.

A special thank you to Courtney with Courtney Leigh Photography for snagging these images of my family. I love you girl! We printed a 5×5 trifold, and includes a die cut 5×7 for our family and close friends highlighting the boys and their many interests.

I had the chance to spend a lazy Saturday morning with my favorite triplets capturing the every day…the little moments of love, snuggles, and laughter that fill a house and make it a home.  The moments that you really want to remember most.  It isn’t about the fancy clothes, the perfectly staged house, or the smiles at the camera…it’s about so much more really.

These fusion sessions are launching in January…keep an eye on the blog for details, or drop me an email at mz@melissazihlman.com if you’d like to get your family on the wait list.
