Today I got 10 minutes of shooting time with my getting-big-too-fast three year old.  He promised to be sweet if he could have 10 jelly beans.  Deal.

After many hits to this blog from her CaringBridge page, and prayers and well wishes left in comments on the previous post, I felt it only right to let you know that Kim (MawMaw) went peacefully early this morning to dance with the angels.

She was surrounded by those who loved her most – her children.  Please continue to pray for her children as they travel this week to lay their momma to rest beside their dad in Louisiana.  And pray for their strength and healing during this time in their life.

We love you Kim…

It is really something when another photographer asks you to capture their family.  And today I got the chance to meet the newest addition in the Erica Joyce family – sweet 9 pound 11 ounce Pierce.  If you don’t know their story, trust me when I say Pierce’s arrival is quite a miracle.  You can read all about their story on Erica’s blog.

At 7 days old, mom and dad were sure I was going to have my work cut out for me.  Dad tried to get some shots yesterday, but apparently Pierce had some other ideas!   After hearing that I wasn’t sure what was in store for me, but he was amazing!!  Can you even believe those amazing cheeks and lips?!?

Thank you, Jake and Erica, for having me out today.  I loved every minute!

I know this blog looks crazy right now…I’m working on some upgrades which means you may see some crazy things over the next day or two…hang with me – the new blog will be better than ever!!

I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with 15 days old Rory.  At a little of six pounds she is so petite…and super sweet! It was so much fun capturing images for her first official photoshoot! 

The blog is going to be be busy this week – I can’t wait to share all these cuties with you!
