I’m several days late in announcing this winner – and I am so sorry! BUT the hold up was because my judging panel couldn’t decide between two entries, both touched their hearts in different ways, and we were trying to figure out which was more deserving. It was impossible. So…we’ve decided make both of them winners!
And just in case you forgot, the winner receives $3200 in photography credit and product: a full digital collection which includes all digital negatives, a custom image box full of 5×7 prints from their session, and a 20×24 gallery wrap canvas. The person who nominated them receives $1400 in product: a session, 5 digital negatives and their matching 5x7s, and 3-3×3 mini accordian albums.
Congratulations to FAYLA (and Holly) and BETH & ERIC (and Shannon)!!!
I’ll be sharing their stories in the coming days…you’ll be nothing short of inspired, I promise!
A big thank you to all the participants in this year’s contest!
It is always such an honor to be asked to photograph a new life, but this session was especially wonderful, because this is the son of another local photographer. She contacted me several months ago about documenting her family after the birth of their second child, and I couldn’t resist. Nolan was born just a few days shy of his due date, and absolutely perfect. He slept the entire session! What a dream!
In other news, don’t forget to check back on the 24th when the winner of the Giving is Awesome contest will be announced!!

Mister L was back for his 1 year session this weekend…I can’t believe he is already a year old! He’s cuter than ever, and enjoyed every minute of playing in the dirt, rocks, and tracks of the train station! You should have seen this kid’s hands and clothes when we were done, but boy did he have a good time!
Seriously could he be any sweeter in these shots? Happy birthday L…thanks for sharing your first year with me!

Say hello to little miss M. Just over 6 pounds of pure sweet little girl. Perfect. She’s joining some pretty awesome older siblings and mom & dad seem over the moon. I have no doubt she’ll be quite the little princess…
This was my quickest newborn session to date…just over one hour! She fell asleep almost as soon as I arrived and let me do whatever I wanted! She was born to model!
.

That’s right – two little ones under the age of one! Big brother K is 11 months old, and recently had his world rocked when sweet mister L joined the world 13 days ago! It was so fun capturing them both…as they each have these amazing personalities already! Thanks for having me out…I really enjoyed meeting your family and documenting this busy but amazing time in your lives!
