MZP will be closed until Friday, October 2nd, so that I can travel to North Carolina for some sessions.
All email inquiries and phone calls will be returned upon my return.
Have a wonderful week!
I love sessions where the clients are up for anything, totally understand my wacky ways, and let me do whatever I want!! Sunrise on the deck of a parking garage…kisses and whispers in the middle of downtown…giggles and some heavy leaning in an alley…using an old adandoned warehouse for some funk…you get the idea! Plus, Kelly got up this morning to have her hair and makeup professionally done before the shoot…this girl meant business, and these two totally rocked it!
Meet Kelly and Robert. In January I’ll be capturing their wedding, but today I had the pleasure of documenting their love…so, stinkin’ cute together! Thanks for the laughs…I hope the cake tasting was yummy!! Can’t wait to see you all again soon!
sunrise…

isn’t the light devine?

seriously, so pretty!! Kelly’s makeup artist did a fabulous job!!

this forehead to forehead shot has become an MZP e-session signature…love it!

the alley – the light was great, and for my photog friends this was shot at 1.6 *swoon*

love the details…how they hold eachother’s hands when they think I’m only taking pictures of their faces.

and finally, a shot of their shoes…such an important accessory and these two nailed it!

Hope you love them…talk soon!
Sweet baby Jack didn’t want to miss a moment of the action – sleeping meant he might miss out! Thank goodness his mom and dad were extra sweet too – taking time to help me get him all calmed down between poses. At ten days old, he is my birthday buddy…we were born on the same day!!
Isn’t he just the cutest little guy?!?

Today I had the chance to finish a newborn session that was started two weeks ago! We got a ton of great shots from the first half of the session, but I went back for a few more with Grandma who just came in town, as well as some more classic MZP style photography. She was an all-star for the hour I invaded their house today.
On a side note, this family has faced a very unexpected passing of an important member of the family over the weekend. I know they would be grateful for any prayers you can say for them as they begin the journey of healing.

My holiday mini sessions are going in full force (yes, I know it is September!!). Today I got to meet up with some favorites from last year…they’ve gotten so big and even cuter, if that is possible!! The kids had a great time playing on the old trains, and the light was so pretty! Thank goodness the sun returned!
There are still two holiday session spots and two newborn session spots left, but other than that MZP is completely booked for the remainder of the year. If you are interested in booking your family for this fall let me know!
