While in Baltimore, I had the pleasure of photographing Erin Leigh’s family.  She is a talented photographer on the Eastern Shore, and has two of the sweetest little girls I have ever met!  And seriously, can we stop for a minute and talk about her oldest’s curls…to die for!  We spent the evening roaming for spots to shoot in, and ended the evening with a little Maggie Moo’s, yum!  It was a super fun session – and more lifestyle than posed, which is the type of family session I adore…I want to capture you doing what you normally do with your family, because those are the moments worth remembering!

My first session in Baltimore took place last Sunday morning in Fell’s Point with an awesome family that was referred by one of my baby planners here in Fort Worth.  Miss Rylee’s mom and dad were married by the dad in this set of photos…awesome!  This family drove into Baltimore a day early and spent the night in a loud hotel full of teenage boys just to meet me bright and early for a session using some of the best light of the day!  The girls were willing to work…for Dunkin’ Donuts munchkins, and were as adorable as ever!

We’re back!  What an awesome vacation we had to the eastern shore…we are tan, relaxed, and refreshed!  I’ve decided that unpacking can wait, as I was eager to get to some of these images from the trip.  I did two family session while in Baltimore, sneak peeks of those will be up later tonight and tomorrow!  The images below are from a get together I attended with some other photographers in the Baltimore area last Monday…we had a great time talking shop and shooting!

I’ve got six, yes SIX sessions this week…kicking off with newborn twins tomorrow morning followed by a sweet newborn boy tomorrow night…check back all week, it is going to be busy!

and my little guy…

I am almost giddy as I write this…while I love my job, my family and I haven’t been on vacation for more than a weekend in almost a year!  We are packing up and heading to the beach for 10 days…hooray!  Don’t worry there will be plenty of images to show when we return as I’ll be doing a couple of sessions while we are in Maryland and my E will have his own beach session too!

MZP will be closed from Thursday, July 9th through Monday, July 20th.  I will have limited access to email and phone while we are away.  All inquiries will be addressed when I return.  And because I can’t post without an image…here’s one more from last night’s session.

Tonight was a stellar session.  I will admit I was a little nervous about whether or not this 5 weeker was going to cooperate, but he is amazing!  Sweet big sister was a great helper, and seriously offered up some of the best moments during this session!  Mom is a talented artist (definitely check her out!), and was up for anything – the golf course in their neighborhood at sunset was perfect!  I couldn’t wait to get home and look at these images!  Thanks for having me out tonight…Mister N was a dream!
