{35 years} – dallas/fort worth engagement photographer – melissa zihlman

More than three decades of marriage and two daughters later, Claudia and Richard decided it was time to get some photos of just the two of them…something they didn’t do before they married.  I’ve known Claudia for 6 years, she is an incredible person and fantastic teacher and a dear friend.  I was honored that she asked me to capture the love she and Richard share.  It was easy…

I can only hope that Eric and I will be as much in love as you two still are…what an amazing testament you are for the rest of us!

And their daughter’s joined us at the end of the shoot, so of course, I had to grab a quick one of the whole family…

Melissa…..I love you work! You have really captured the love shared between Claudia and Richard. My favorite one is the one of them nose to nose with their eyes closed. You rox!

Melissa, I have to say, I absolutely hate getting my picture taken so I was hesitant when you asked me and my sister to join in one of the shots but you really did a great job! You managed to make someone in a t shirt and shorts with no make up and somewhat dirty hair look great, thank you. Its nice to see my parents portrayed so well and just the two of them without us kids, like they were before us. I guess Im lucky to have parents that are still willing to stick together after all these years and we’re (my family) lucky to have access to such a talented photographer. I am sincerely please with what you have shown us here, cant wait to see the rest.
