{littlest heroes} – dallas/fort worth photographer – melissa zihlman

GOD has given me such an awesome gift, and I know part of his plan is for me to share it with as many others as I can.  I feel so blessed to have so many wonderful and amazing clients, who support my art and afford me the honor of documenting such important milestones in their lives.

Part of what I do as a photographer is to donate my time and talent to two amazing non-profit organizations, Now I Lay Me Down to Sleep (www.nilmdts.org) and The Littlest Heroes Project (site).  Tonight I had the pleasure of photographing two little heroes from the same family.  The littlest brother, J, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma at 8 months, but thankfully is now in remission!  The oldest, A, is a spunky three year old who during the time of his brother’s illness was diagnosed with Type I diabetes.  Wow, such extradorinary things going on in this family’s life, but you’d never know it!  Thanks you so much for letting me photograph your boys tonight…it was such an honor.
